The California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) presents a full‐day, advanced‐level seminar on wage and hour law. This high‐quality program will help plaintiffs’ attorneys stay abreast of this rapidly evolving practice area.  Panels will feature a survey of recent case law and legislative developments, state court and federal judges addressing their chief concerns in wage and hour litigation, a former high-ranking official from the Obama administration’s DOL and other workers’ rights advocates regarding the accomplishments of the past administration and what to anticipate at the DOL under Trump, litigating wage and hour claims for piece rate and commissioned employees, and best practices for getting the discovery needed to prosecute wage and hour claims.
